AWS S3

Note: You must have the necessary Roles associated with your User Profile

Pre-requisites

To connect to an AWS S3 storage location, you need:

1. The ability to manage the AWS S3 bucket containing your source data via the AWS console

2. The AWS S3 path to your data including the bucket name and prefix.

3. The ability to apply an auto-generated bucket policy to your policy access settings in AWS

4. The S3 bucket region

5. IAM credentials *

6. The Amazon Access key *

7. The Amazon Secret key *

8. The IAM role ARN

Steps to create a Connector

• Go MANAGE on the Navigation bar

• Select Connectors to view the Manage Connectors screen

• Click the Create connector button at the top right

• Enter a Name * your Connector and a Description * (optional)

• Select the Type of Connector AWS S3

• Enter the information you have prepared in your AWS S3 | Pre-requisites

• Add any Integration Metadata * needed for programmatic integrations

• Click the Create button to create your Connector

Those items marked with an * can be edited after the Connector has been created
